AceMail is the official student email service at Texas A&M University–Texarkana, powered by Gmail. All official university communication will be sent to your AceMail account, so it's important to check it regularly.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Go to Gmail
    Navigate to gmail.com in your web browser.

  2. Enter Your Email Address
    Your AceMail address will be in the following format:
    first.lastname@ace.tamut.edu
    Example: If your name is John Smith, your email might be john.smith@ace.tamut.edu

  3. Enter Your Default Password
    The default password format is:
    MMDDYYYY!Ace

    • Replace MMDDYYYY with your full date of birth.
      Example: If your birthday is March 15, 2002, your default password would be 03152002!Ace

  4. Set a New Password
    The first time you log in, you’ll be prompted to set a new, more secure password. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete this step.
