Register for EagleID Password Self-Service

The EagleID Password Self-Service portal allows you to change your password anytime, anywhere! Follow the simple steps in this article to register and use this service.

Registration Steps

1. Access the Portal

   • Go to password.tamut.edu.
   • Log in with your current EagleID and password.
     • Note: If your password has expired, contact the Service Desk for assistance:
       • Visit: University Center, Suite 257
       • Call: 903-334-6603

2. Read and Proceed

   • Review the welcome message describing the available services.
   • Click the "Click Here" button to continue.

3. Set Security Questions

   • Choose two security questions from the dropdown list.
   • Enter your answers to the questions in the respective boxes, typing each answer twice exactly as it should be remembered.
   • Important: Remember your answers exactly as typed for future use.

4. Complete Enrollment

   • Click "Enroll."
   • A confirmation message will appear indicating successful enrollment.

Using the Self-Service Portal

Unlock Your Account

1. Go to password.tamut.edu.
2. Click the Lock icon titled "Unlock Account."
3. Enter your EagleID username.
4. Answer your security questions.
5. Enter the captcha characters.
6. Your account will be unlocked.

Reset Your Password

1. Go to password.tamut.edu.
2. Click the Key icon titled "Reset Password."
3. Enter your EagleID username.
4. Answer your security questions.
5. Enter the captcha characters.
6. Set your new password without needing the old one.
