How to Access Your AceMail (Student Email Account)

AceMail is the official student email service at Texas A&M University–Texarkana and is powered by Gmail. All official university communications are sent to your AceMail account, so it is important to access and monitor your email regularly.

Follow these steps the first time you access your AceMail account:

Step 1: Go to Gmail

Open a web browser and navigate to:

https://gmail.com

Step 2: Enter Your AceMail Address

Your AceMail address will be in the following format:

Step 3: Enter Your Default Password

Your default password is:

MMDDYYYY!Ace

Replace MMDDYYYY with your date of birth.

Upon your first login, you will be prompted to create a new password for your AceMail account.

Choose a strong password that:

  • Is at least 12 characters long
  • Contains a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Includes numbers and special characters
  • Is not used for any other account

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the password change process.
