How to Log in to Web for Students

Important Notice: Upcoming Login Changes
Web for Students will be migrated to the Digital Backpack and will soon use your EagleID credentials instead of your CWID and PIN.
This change is tentatively scheduled to go live between June and August.
You will receive an email at your AceMail account with the official launch date and further instructions once it is finalized.

Step-by-Step Instructions (Current Login Method)

  1. Go to the TAMUT Website
    Visit tamut.edu and click "Web for Students/Faculty" in the Quick Links section.

  2. Enter Your CWID
    Use your 8-digit Campus Wide ID (CWID) as your username.

  3. Enter Your PIN
    Your default PIN is your 6-digit date of birth in the format MMDDYY.
    Example: If your birthday is January 5, 2001, your PIN would be 010501.

  4. Update Your PIN (Recommended)
    After logging in for the first time, it is strongly recommended that you reset your PIN for security purposes.

What You Can Access in Web for Students

  • Class schedules

  • Registration status and holds

  • Financial aid and payment information

  • Grades and unofficial transcripts

  • Admissions status

  • DegreeWorks
